GUITAR LESSONS

My guitar lessons always start with songs students want to play. After choosing a song, we will use the song to learn chord structures, strumming patterns, some simple theory and HAVE FUN!! I will specifically model my lesson to help you at your current skill level. Learning guitar is much easier than people think. I specialize in beginner & intermediate guitar lessons but am very successful helping folks of all ages achieve their musical goals.

DRUM LESSONS

We will model lessons based on songs you choose, and look at a drum book to include basic rhythm, new drum beats, more drum fills, stick technique, rhythm, rock, country, swing beats, and lots of FUN!! I encourage all drummers to have a drum or drum-set to practice on at home.

GROUP LESSONS

Though individual lessons offer a great opportunity for growth and learning, especially for students that are beginners, I also prioritize Jam Bands and Group Lessons because studies have shown that learning music in a group setting is very beneficial. Plus it's often much more fun with a friend. ​

JAM BAND PRACTICE

Jam Bands are a 60-75 minute sessions, where students have an opportunity to learn a song with other guitar and drum students and play together as a band. Group Lessons are an ongoing opportunity to learn songs and theory with other students. In these settings, students learn the value and skill of playing with other musicians.
